Lecturer Joonha Park gave a research presentation at the 20th International Symposium, “Knowledge and Training for Green Transformation,” held from December 10 to 11, 2025. The symposium was planned and organized by the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) and was convened as a forum for interdisciplinary discussions on challenges related to sustainability.
The title of the presentation was “From Inner Awareness to Ecological Worldviews: Pathways to Sustainability and Well-Being,” which examined the relationship between human well-being and environmental sustainability from a psychological perspective. In particular, the talk highlighted the importance of experiential aspects, such as inner awareness and engagement with nature, in thinking about how to build a sustainable society.
This symposium provided a valuable opportunity to reconsider psychology’s contributions to environmental issues and to reflect anew on perspectives in global citizenship education.
