On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Dr. Derek Gladwin and Dr. Naoko Ellis from the System Beings Lab at the University of British Columbia visited the Graduate School of Education at Kyoto University and held an exchange of views with members of the Global Citizenship Education Project team.
The System Beings Lab is a collaborative research organization that explores a variety of approaches from an educational perspective to the complex diversity of global society. Through introductions of both organizations and discussions on issues related to education, society, and international relations, we were able to exchange a wide range of perspectives and opinions on this project, which focuses on global citizenship education.
