To mark the launch of the World Citizenship Education Project, a brainstorming session was held on February 6, 2025, bringing together faculty and students from the Kyoto University Graduate School of Education.
In the first part of the session, project members presented perspectives and research questions on the themes of world, citizenship, and education from within their respective academic fields:
・Associate Professor Koichiro Misawa (Human Education)
・Lecturer Joonha Park (Social and Cultural Psychology)
・Associate Professor Yuzo Hirose (Philosophy of Education)
In the second part, participants reflected on how these themes connect to their own research areas and engaged in an open discussion and Q&A session based on the ideas introduced earlier.
The insights and questions raised during this brainstorming session will be used to help shape the future direction of the project.
