Social and Environmental Awareness

In today’s global society, we, as human beings, face dynamic challenges that impact our adaptation and well-being.

This division examines global issues, such as shifting perceptions of climate change and social problems, with the aim of developing strategies that support psychological adaptation and promote well-being in the face of the anxieties these problems evoke.

We also incorporate perspectives from East Asian traditional values and cultural factors, exploring how these influence educational practices as well as individual and collective processes of adaptation.

Through these research activities, we aim to connect with the development of innovative teaching methods and curricula in educational settings. Our goal is to help learners develop critical and multifaceted perspectives on environmental and social issues, and to collaborate with experts across disciplines to contribute to sustainable social transformation.
